1. Data We Collect

When you use PickemCentral, we collect the following information:

• Account information: email address, display name, and profile photo (required at registration)
• Game data: your picks, predictions, and standings across Survivor League, NFL Playoff Pickem, and NBA Playoff Pickem
• Device tokens: when you enable push notifications, we store your device token to send pick reminders and results
• Crash diagnostics: anonymous crash reports and error data collected via Sentry to improve app stability

2. How We Use Your Data

• Account authentication: to verify your identity when you log in
• Game functionality: to record your picks, calculate scores, and display leaderboards
• Push notifications: to send pick reminders before lock times and results after games
• Crash reporting: to identify and fix bugs (crash data is not linked to your identity)

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate PickemCentral:

• Vercel: hosting and deployment
• Neon: PostgreSQL database hosting
• Apple Push Notification service (APNs): delivering push notifications to iOS devices
• Sentry: crash reporting and error tracking
• Vercel Blob: profile photo storage

We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use advertising or tracking services.

4. Data Retention

Your account data (email, name, photo, picks) is retained until you delete your account. When you delete your account, your personal information is anonymized and your email is freed for re-registration. Game history (picks, standings) is preserved in anonymized form. Crash diagnostics are retained per Sentry's default retention period (90 days).

5. Your Rights

• Delete your account: available in the iOS app under Settings → Delete Account, or contact us by email
• Access your data: contact us to request a copy of your data

6. Children's Privacy

PickemCentral is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of PickemCentral after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
